Today, practice was a little bit of a struggle. A few shots left and a few too deep I filmed my swing to figure out what the problem was and I’m going to break it down for you. The picture above was a breakdown from after I figured it out. Basically I realised that the pain in my left wrist was subconsciously causing me to swing up too steep which therefore made me come down at the ball too steep and connect too deep. So I corrected it and in the sequence above you will see the optimum positions of a technical swing coach.
If you ever want to try this on yourself, draw a line from the club head through your belt buckle, and another from the club head through the bottom of your shoulder blades…. And remember perfect practice makes perfect!
